Originally from the UK, Rabia Shah graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2001 and has been enhancing her expertise in Singapore for over 15 years. She is a staunch advocate for a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, which led her to join a team of seasoned practitioners at her current practice.

Rabia is committed to providing holistic, evidence-based treatment. She utilises hands-on manual therapies, including joint mobilisation and soft tissue techniques, coupled with corrective exercises and educational strategies to directly address the root causes of pain. Her practice emphasises not only immediate relief but also long-term health empowerment for her patients.

She has specialised expertise in Women’s Health, tackling conditions such as Diastasis Recti, pelvic floor dysfunctions, incontinence, and pelvic pain. Rabia is also skilled in general musculoskeletal conditions, pre and post-natal physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, and mindfulness-based health strategies. Each of her treatment sessions begins with a comprehensive assessment, followed by detailed explanations of the anatomy and function relevant to the patient’s condition, ensuring clear communication and understanding.

Rabia is particularly passionate about treating complex pain disorders. Her approach to chronic pain management incorporates the latest in therapeutic neuroscience to modify neuroplasticity, aiming to calm over-active danger signals in the brain and nervous system. Her methods include Therapeutic Neuroscience Education, Mindfulness for Pain, and Mindful Movement techniques.

To support continued progress outside of her clinic, Rabia provides patients with a personalised Home Exercise Program. This program includes videos, pictures, and detailed instructions tailored to ensure that the correct muscles are targeted effectively in both work and home environments.

Meris Tan

Physiotherapist
BPhty (Hons) (AUS)

Meris graduated from the University of Queensland with a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy. She ventured straight into private practice in Australia, where she gained clinical experience in her interest areas which includes and jaw pain (TMJ dysfunction), spinal joint dysfunction (E.g. neck/back pain and headaches) and vertigo (BPPV).

Meris is trained in the Maitland technique and her treatment approach involves combining manual therapy and individualised exercise prescription. She is also certified in Clinical Pilates and Dry Needling.

Having had personal experiences with sports injuries, she understands the frustration when patients are unable to perform to their maximum potential. With this, Meris aims to help patients understand their condition, supporting them throughout their recovery journey in a holistic and empowering manner. Meris places utmost importance on developing a reciprocal therapeutic alliance with patients, as she believes that joint decision making, and active participation leads to the best results.

Outside of work, Meris enjoys bringing her cats out for walks and partaking in various sports such as ballet, golf and figure skating.

felicia teow

Felicia Teow

Physiotherapist
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy | Diploma in Health Science (Nursing)

Felicia Teow is a dedicated physiotherapist with a background in both nursing and rehabilitation. Before beginning her physiotherapy career, she obtained a Diploma in Health Science (Nursing), which gave her a strong foundation in patient care and clinical decision-making.
 
She started her physiotherapy journey in a community setting, spending three years treating geriatric and neurological patients. This experience helped her develop expertise in movement rehabilitation, fall prevention, and functional training for individuals with mobility challenges.
 
Now in private practice, Felicia focuses on managing lower limb pain, with a keen interest in Achilles tendinopathy. She takes an individualised approach to treatment, combining hands-on techniques with movement-based rehabilitation to restore function and improve mobility. She emphasises patient education, ensuring individuals understand their condition and the steps needed for long-term recovery.
 
Felicia values a collaborative approach to care and works closely with podiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment. She is passionate about empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need for long-term pain management and injury prevention.
 
Outside of work, Felicia enjoys going out with her dog, going to the gym, playing console and mobile games, and spoiling movie plotlines for herself on Wikipedia.
